Greetings, I am Makeda Abena Nkrumah Adassa Ansah. I am from the Caribbean (the U.S. Virgin Islands), via West Africa and East African origins.
I became a publisher, writer and editor to help marginalized people share their stories. I also share unique stories from the Afro-Caribbean diaspora which seldom gets exposure.
As a person raised in foster care, being among the deaf community and being deemed disabled myself at one point in life, it became a necessity to share my story with the world in order to heal.
It is also my calling to hold church leaders and those in authority accountable, in order to help bring about change in our local communities and the world-at-large.
At MANAA Publishing we offer opportunities for sharing stories with in various formats: books, novels, magazines, academic journals, script writing for tv, feature films, biographies, memoirs, and stories for a cause.
